This product is a soft, conformable transparent film dressing designed for use on intravenous (IV) sites and various wound care applications. It incorporates microporous technology and a traditional moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) to maintain a moist wound environment while allowing continuous observation of the site. The dressing includes an absorbent, non-adherent pad suitable for wounds or sites with light drainage and features a 1-2-3 application system to ensure correct placement. It is indicated for partial-thickness wounds, full-thickness wounds as a secondary dressing, peripheral and central IV lines, skin tears, lacerations, abrasions, and to help prevent skin breakdown caused by friction. The dressing is not made with natural rubber latex and may be left in place for up to 7 days, with dressing change frequency depending on drainage levels. It is contraindicated as a primary dressing on wounds with moderate to heavy drainage.
